In partnership with Ocado we are in the process of delivering a brand new state-of-the-art customer fulfilment centre in NSW. Harnessing the latest technology this site will offer a wider range to our customers and safter, cleaner environment for our staff. As this site ramps up we have an opportunity for an experienced Systems Support to join the team.
About the role
You will be responsible for ensuring the technology within the customer fulfilment centre is running at optimal level, ultimately enabling us help us to deliver a great customer experience. This is a standalone role in which you will focus on the end to end customer systems support, where you will be working at our CFC which has the most technologically advanced systems in the Southern Hemisphere.
This role will be responsible for managing the provisioning of technical support for the management and team members across our Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) and spoke sites for the NSW region.
You will also:
- Coordinate and provide assistance as the first point of contact to support team members and facilitating escalations to help desk
- Resolve issues and support across IT hardware management, systems access, diagnosing technical issues on site
- Ensure consistency of CFC systems and processes in line with our National standards and expectations
- Experience in working in a diverse site with many stakeholders
- Work closely with team members to build strong and robust working relationships that are focused on delivering outcomes
About you and your skills
We’re after an experienced Systems Support resource with strong management, implementation and troubleshooting of IT software and hardware experience as well as a proven track record in delivering outcomes. You will also have:
Tertiary qualification in IT related areas preferable
- Knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Manhattan experience would be advantageous or similar warehouse/labour management systems
- We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team member who has experience working in a fast paced logistics environment particularly in the Supply Chain/Logistics industry ideally in a FMCG or retail environment
- Proven experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and successfully communicating system related information
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and deliver objectives with high degree of energy and enthusiasm
- Prior exposure to solving issues within a distribution centre/warehouse environment with the ability to solve complex problems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, build and deliver on the various needs of this highly valued role
